Each doorway is a threshold into the spirit of the Hunan heartland; through the emblem of the gate, Wei Huailiang asks what a land and its rivers have bred in thought and character.湖湘之门——屈子祠、贾谊故居、岳麓书院、船山学社、蔡伦公祠、魏源故居、黄兴故居、毛泽东故居……一扇扇门,是通往湖湘文脉的入口。魏怀亮以门为象,叩问一方水土所孕育的思想与风骨。
